Learn all the basic skills you need to join any rowing club.
This is a Saturday and Sunday course, with a 3 hour session each day. You will earn your Learn 2 Row (L2R) certificate, be able to join any rowing club confidently and we'll leave you with a work sheet to continue working on your skills. We also offer a morning session from 8-11am.
AGE: 9 to 99
WHAT WE WILL COVER:
The sessions will be on water and on land and you'll get hands on experience with each of the following:
- Equipment
- Safety
- Basic skills
- Technique
- Understanding the environment for the sport
- Customized coaching
- Lots of time rowing!
WHEN TO BE HERE:
Please be here 15 minutes early for the first day so that we can get forms signed.
WHERE TO FIND US:
You'll find us out on the front porch of Hatchets Training Centre getting sunblock on and forms signed!
